
Sabesp attends 25 million people and owns R$8,4 billion in liquid patrimony and expressive attendance indexes:
- 100% water treatment;
- 78% sewage collected;
- 60% sewage treatment;
In the first semester 2006, the LAJIDA margin was R$ 695,4 million with a rise from 48,3% to 51,7%. Liquid revenue was R$4,9 billion.
In 11 years, U$7,5 billion were invested to improve inhabitants health conditions, generate employment, capacitating and technology within the sanitation market.
Present at the Sao Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa) since 1997, Sabesp is the first sanitation company listed in the NYSE (New York Stock Exchange).
It is recognized by the United Nations as the company that better uses water for sustainable development and adopting concepts of good corporative governance practice, showing the strengthening of the brand and mainly commitment to its clients, shareholders and suppliers.
LAJIDA margin in the 2nd semester of 2006 was R$1,2 billion and liquid revenue reached R$2,5 billion.
